How to Turn On Hydraulics

So you need to use the hydraulic tools like the jaws of life (spreader or cutter)? No problem, the process to use this once you pull up to a scene is simple and all steps are done right from the driver or passenger seat. Here is what you need to do:

1. Locate the "High Idle", "Generator", "Hydraulic", and "Tools" switches in the center switch panel.
2. Turn all of these switches on in the respective order listed above.
3. Ensure the green ready light is illuminated on the dash.

If the light is not on, the hydraulic tools will not work. Flip the "Tools" switch to off, and make sure the engine is fully high idled before flipping the "Tools" switch on again.
