Combi tools are a very valid option depending on your fire department. If you are a new department and/or funds are limited, this may be a good option. With prices that very from $9k-$12k, it is a cost effective way to be be able to get the job done in a lot of situations.
Pros:
- Performs both spreading and cutting.
- Half of the cost of two dedicated tools.
- One tool means less space needed to store.
Cons

- Due to its shape it may not be as suitable for cutting in tight spaces.
